Nice to meet you fellow earthling!
Hi! My name is Liz Cortez, and I’m so happy to share with you about how I arrived to this moment in time. On a personal journey towards healing from childhood trauma, divorce and reproductive health issues, I took the leap and did my yoga teacher training. I had no intention to teach yoga. I was just looking to change and heal myself. However, before I even finished training I landed myself teaching sunrise yoga at a gym in 2017. I was hooked and discovered how much I truly enjoyed teaching and knew I found my calling. I continued to expand my trainings and took classes in hot yoga and yin yoga. After attending a soundbath, I also fell in love and knew I must learn to play the bowls and began building my collection of singing bowls. I started playing for my yoga classes and that lead to offering sound experiences for larger groups. My spiritual journey continued to evolve and I received my certification in Reiki after feeling how profound and beautiful energy work can be.
After struggling with surgeries and issues with my reproductive health I knew I had to seek and change my health. I enrolled in The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and received my certification in holistic health coaching. It became my passion to help guide others explore their own healing power that is right inside of them. I was introduced to Peruvian Shamanism during a training in Costa Rica. Little hints and synchronicities began to show up in my life and I answered the calling to explore Shamanism in a deeper way at the School Shamanic Arts in Glendora, CA. It was there that I began my studies in Peruvian Shamanism and received my rites as a Pompamesayoq Shaman. With all of this deep study and work that I have been engaged in for the past 6 years, I have now been lead here. To this open this little studio space in Rancho Mirage, where I will share this work with all who might benefit. In this studio space, we will learn, grow and heal together. I look forward to sharing the love with all who enter.
